Saturday Senior Baseball
For age 55 and over

Did you used to love to play baseball but haven't been able to since you "grew up"? Do softball leagues not give you what you are looking for?

Then check out the new Saturday Senior Baseball League this summer. Bob Rink of Cleveland Heights is 61 years old and has a passion for baseball. He couldn't find a local baseball league for the 55 and over gang so he started one.

Rink is looking for 28 men and women over the age of 55 who want to play baseball - with wooden bats - at Forest Hills Park in Cleveland Heights.

There will be a few changes such as 4 outfielders so that 10 will be in the field, no stealing, no sliding if it is to "take out" a player and other common sense adjustments.

You can pick up a form for the league at the Cleveland Heights Community Center at 1 Monticello Blvd or go to their web site for more information.

Loosen up, grab your mitt and give it a try.
